As a concrete cutting contractor we are required by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to remove and clean up all slurry we create during the course of our works.
It is now a fineable offence to leave the slurry on roads, gutters, public areas or areas where it could run into or be poured into any type of drain or water catchment area.
As a result of this, and the added cost in taking action to comply with these standards, we now charge a slurry control service fee when applicable. Alternatively, the customer is able to take responsibility for the removal of any slurry or mess by signing the relevant disclaimer form.
A Disclaimer, if signed will be required for each individual job. |
